-19 A vent cover for providing air flow to an internal space of a building structure or dwelling, the vent cover comprising: a low-profile domed hood; a base plate adapted to receive the domed hood, the base plate comprising an aperture providing air flow with the internal space ; wherein the domed hood defines an opening adapted to provide air flow between the internal space and ambient air, a circumferential neck portion surrounding and defining the aperture; a collar adapted to engage the neck portion such that, in use, the collar projects into the internal space; a grill adapted to engage the domed hood and the base plate thus enclosing the opening; and an internal deflector adapted to engage the neck portion of the base plate and configured to prevent cover liquid ingress into the internal space. 1305 112 113 8 Figure 2
