A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
A bevellingtrolley system to bevel upper and lower edges on a concrete vertical edge simultaneously in combination with a wet grinder. The disclosed inventive device includes a trolley base 19 manufactured to hold a 125mm wet grinder in place positioned horizontally onto trolley base with top section of grinder at front working end of trolley. The trolley includes a clamp 3 attached to the base 19 of trolley which holds grinder in position. Two stainless steel handle plates 2 are attached at front of trolley to sides of aluminium clamp 3 with a hardened poly plastic handle 1 placed between them positioned above grinder to maneuver bevelling trolley system. The clamp 3 can be removed by loosening fasteners to replace grinder when required. The hardened poly plastic handle 1 gives a secure grip when operating the bevelling trolley system. Three castorwheels 15 are used to support and roll bevelling grinding trolley along the concrete edge. Knob 18 located at back of trolley above back castorwheel adjusts trolley height and angle to concrete level. A 125mm wet grinder is clamped to the bevelling trolley system and the bevelling trolley system shaft 10 is connected to grinder along with upper and lower profile wheels 8,14 which are held in position on the shaft with stainless steel rollers 9,12, spacer 11 a metal coiled spring 19 and flange nut 13. The grinder is plugged into mains and powered up and water hose connected to a tap and the water hose component on grinder in order to wet grind. Profile wheels on bevelling trolley system shaft 10 grinds the top and bottom of the concrete edge surface to a smooth bevel finish simultaneously when the grinders power switch is on.
