A vehicle, provided with a vehicle door assembly. The vehicle door assembly comprises an exterior vehicle door handle; and the exterior vehicle door handle comprises a base and a handle grip. The base is provided with a groove and is suitable for being mounted on a vehicle door. The handle grip is rotatably mounted on the base between a closed position and an open position; when the handle grip is in the closed position, the outer surface of the handle grip does not protrude out of the outer surface of the vehicle door and covers the groove; and when the handle grip rotates from the closed position to the open position by rotating towards the interior of the groove, the handle grip does not protrude out of the outer surface of the vehicle door and the groove is exposed.
