Protective structure fighting ocean waves at low lying coral atolls
Randomly interlocking wave protection elements, units made from four PET beverage bottles filled with sand or similar, arranged in a way, that a bottle's longitudinal axis coincides with a line, commencing at the center of gravity of a tetrahedron and passes through one of the four corners, whereby the neck of a bottle is pointing to the center of gravity and the bottom of a bottle is pointing to one of the four corners, with all four bottle necks rigidly connected to each other near the tetrahedrons center of gravity.
