BALLAST-CONDITION MONITORING SYSTEM, BALLAST-CONDITION MONITORING DEVICE, AND BALLAST-CONDITION MONITORING METHOD
This ballast-condition monitoring system comprises: an input unit into which is input data indicating the surface condition of ballast in railroad track; a processing unit that calculates an index value indicating the degree to which the ballast has become granular, on the basis of the data which was input to the input unit and which indicates the surface condition of the ballast; and a maintenance necessity determination processing unit that determines, on the basis of the index value, whether maintenance is necessary.
