Abstract A wire tensioning device (10) including a body (14) with spaced apart first and second opposing sides (18a, 18b) and a spool (16) extending between the first and second opposing sides (18a, 18b), the spool (16) including a slot (44) arranged to allow a wire (12) to be moved into the spool (16) to enable winding of the wire (12) about the spool (16).
