Universal Retaining Post - a combined sleeper retaining wall beam or channel with a fence post attached
The Universal Retaining Post (URP) was primarily developed to overcome an issue whereby when fences are installed above sleeper retaining walls, the fence posts have to be retrofitted by welding a plate with the post attached on site. The URP is fabricated in a workshop, overcoming this on site process and introduces many other benefits as well. Those being " Top to bottom powder coated finish * Faster project completion time * No power required on site for welding * Folded top corners = no welds to rust " Elimination of sharp edges where welds once were * Height aligning retaining seats With all of these benefits, the URP provides significant improvements as both a product and the installation process for the industry.
