A support chair for supporting reinforcing of the type used for reinforcing concrete or masonry structures is disclosed. In an embodiment, the support chair comprises a base, one or more uprights upstanding from the base and at least one height adjustable support. The at least one height adjustable support is operatively associated with the one or more upright so that the height adjustable support is movable from a lower position to or towards a raised position.
