A frame profile (10) being an elongated extrusion having a consistent cross section along its length which can be cut to required lengths for forming side jambs (110) and/or a head jamb (120) of a door, the frame profile (10) in cross-section comprising: a base plate (12) having a first face (14), a second face (16), a first side edge (18) and a second side edge (20), a first formation (30) extending from the first face (14) adjacent the first side edge (18), a second formation (50) extending from the first face (14) close to the second side edge (20), the second formation (50) being spaced from the first formation (30) to define a main channel (60) therebetween, and wherein the second formation (500) includes a trim receiving space (75) for receiving a trim board (240) therein.
