Hand Rail And Kick Plate Assembly
A hand rail and kick plate assembly (10), when used in a platform, walkway or ramp structure, has a plurality of hand rails (12, 14, 16, 18, 19), a plurality of kick plates (20, 22, 24, 26, 27), and post means (28) connected to a deck (56) of the structure. The post means support the hand rails and kick plates in elevated positions from the deck. The support by the post means is provided by respective brackets (36, 42). The hand rails, kick plates and post means are prefabricated off-site so as to be dimensioned to enable their interconnection on-site to form the assembly without altering their dimensions by use of cutting tools.
