VENT AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
An air vent for ventilating a building is disclosed. The air vent comprises a collar having a first inlet portion, a first outlet portion and at least one collar flange extending from the collar; a vent body having a second inlet portion, a second outlet portion, and at least one vent body flange extending from the vent body, wherein the collar and vent body define a flow channel that is dimensioned to maintain a flow capacity of a duct to which the collar is attached and wherein the relative positions of the vent body and the collar are adjustable. The dimensions of the air vent may be complementary to the dimensions of a void defined by one or more framework members of the building. The air vent may provide a flow rate capacity of 50 to 100 Ls. The collar and vent body may be rotatably coupled.
