Wand for a cord driven blind assembly
A wand 1 for operating a cord driven roller blind assembly having a retractable screen. The wand 1 comprises a longitudinal operating stork 13 securable to an operating cord extendable from a clutch assembly 3 of the roller blind assembly. The stork 13 is configured to be pulled downwardly a first predetermined distance to extend the retractable screen and a second predetermined distance to retract the screen. The wand 1 further comprises a sleeve assembly 17 at least in part disposed within the stork 13. The sleeve assembly 13 comprising a connector 23 for connecting the wand 1 to the clutch assembly 3 of the roller blind assembly. The connector 23 comprising a flexible neck region to allow the wand 1 to pivot relative to the clutch assembly 3 from a substantially upright position. The sleeve assembly 17 having a passage therethrough configured for passage of the operating cord from the clutch assembly 3 to the stork 13, wherein the sleeve assembly conceals the cord between the clutch assembly 3 and the stork 13 when the stork 13 is pulled to operate the blind. 1-1 Figure 1B Figure 1C Figure 2
