A footing system is provided comprising a bracket configured to engage with the top of a pile optionally buried in the ground. The bracket comprises an opening for receiving the top of the pile. Around the opening, there is a top bracket plate spaced apart from a bottom bracket plate. There are a plurality of passageways formed between the top bracket plate and the bottom bracket plate, each passageway configured to receive a micro-pile therethrough. The micro-pile is insertable through the top bracket plate and out through the bottom bracket plate and into the ground adjacent the pile. A cover plate can be provided for covering the bracket engaged with the top of the pile optionally buried in the ground, and the micro-piles once inserted.
