A BLANKET-LIKE LAMINATE FOR INSULATING SURFACES
An insulation product is comprised of a fibrous layer pre-assembled with a flexible foam layer. The layer containing the fibrous material may comprise a fiberglass layer or a layer containing cellulosic fibers. The foam layer, on the other hand, may comprise any suitable flexible foam, such as an elastomeric polyurethane foam, that creates an air barrier. The two materials are laminated together and the resulting product is delivered to a building or structure for installation.
Un produit disolation est fait dune couche de fibres préassemblée avec une couche de mousse souple. La couche renfermant le matériau fibreux peut comporter une couche de fibres de verre ou une couche renfermant des fibres cellulosiques. La couche de mousse, quant à elle, peut être faite de toute mousse souple convenable, comme une mousse de polyuréthane élastomère, qui crée une barrière dair. Les deux matériaux sont stratifiés et le produit résultant est fourni pour installation dans un bâtiment ou une structure.
