AGGLOMERATED RETROREFLECTIVE BEADS FOR HIGHWAY MARKING AND METHODS FOR FABRICATION AND USE THEREOF
A retroreflective device securable to a highway by bonding thereto preferably with a viscous strip applied to the highway prior to solidifying cure of the strip includes a generally globular glass central member, a desirably pigmented adhesive layer over the central member and a plurality of peripheral globular glass members connected to the central member by the pigmented adhesive layer. A method for fabricating the retroreflective device is also disclosed.
L'invention concerne un dispositif rétroréfléchissant pouvant être fixé par collage sur une autoroute, de préférence à l'aide d'une bande visqueuse appliquée sur l'autoroute avant la solidification de la bande, et qui comprend un élément central de verre généralement globulaire, une couche adhésive pigmentée de manière voulue sur l'élément central et une pluralité d'éléments de verre globulaire périphériques liés à l'élément central par la couche adhésive pigmentée. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de fabrication du dispositif rétroréfléchissant.
