STRUCTURAL CAP WITH COMPOSITE SLEEVES
The disclosure describes, in part, techniques for designing, fabricating and installing structural caps with a core and composite sleeves to be coupled to structural members of a foundation, such as an installed radial array of batter angled micropiles. These structural caps with sleeves are lightweight and, thus, more portable to difficult-access sites. Once at the sites, operators may fixedly couple these caps to the micropiles or other structural members to form a foundation for a structure to be installed at the difficult-access site.
Linvention décrit, en partie, des techniques pour concevoir, fabriquer et installer des chapeaux structuraux avec un noyau et des manchons composites à coupler aux éléments structuraux dune fondation, comme une structure radiale installée de micropieux à angle dinclinaison. Ces chapeaux structuraux avec manchons sont légers et, ainsi, plus portables aux sites difficiles daccès. Une fois aux sites, les opérateurs peuvent coupler de manière fixe ces chapeaux aux micropieux ou autres éléments structuraux pour former une fondation pour une structure à installer au site difficile daccès.
