PRECAST INTERCONNECTABLE CONCRETE PAVER BLOCK FOR CONSTRUCTING PAVING SURFACES
A precast concrete paver block for assembly with other like paver blocks to form a paved surface is a solid core block which has first and second pairs of flat parallel side walls. One wall of the first pair has at least one block engaging projection disposed between a top and bottom surface of the block. The opposed side wall of the pair has a slot to receive in close sliding fit the block engaging projection(s) of an adjacent paver block for interengagement while permitting horizontal displacement and preventing vertical displacement, with a top face of the paver blocks lying in a substantially common planar surface. Spacers are formed integral in a base portion of one wall of the first pair and in a portion of one wall of the second pair, to form open joints about each block to communicate with a support bed.
Un bloc de pavé de béton prémoulé pour un assemblage avec dautres blocs de pavé similaires pour former une surface pavée est un bloc à noyau solide qui possède des première et seconde paires de parois latérales parallèles plates. Une paroi de la première paire a au moins un bloc mettant en prise une saillie placée entre une surface supérieure et une surface inférieure du bloc. La paroi latérale opposée de la paire a une fente pour recevoir dans un agencement coulissant serré le bloc mettant en prise des saillies dun bloc de pavé adjacent pour un enclenchement tout en permettant un déplacement horizontal et en empêchant un déplacement vertical, avec une face supérieure des blocs de pavé reposant dans une surface commune sensiblement planaire. Des entretoises sont formées, intégrantes à une partie de base dune paroi de la première paire et dans une partie dune paroi de la seconde paire, pour former des articulations ouvertes autour de chaque bloc pour communiquer avec un lit de soutien.
