The present invention relates to emulsions comprising a (1?3)-ß-D-glucan, a cationic emulsifier and a bituminous binder having a low penetration. The emulsion is storage stable whilst fast breaking, even under unfavourable environmental conditions such as high humidity and low temperature. The emulsions can conveniently be used in chip less surface dressings, trackless tack coating compositions, water-proofing compositions, flooring applications, bonding layers, impregnation layers, dense coated materials and semi-dense coated materials which are cold-cast or storable, slurry seals, micro-surfacing compositions and mortars
La présente invention concerne des émulsions comprenant un (1?3)-ß-D-glucane, un émulsifiant cationique et un liant birumineux à faible degré de pénétration. L'émulsion est stable au stockage tout en étant à rupture rapide, même dans des conditions ambiantes défavorables, notamment des conditions de forte humidité et de basse température. Les émulsions peuvent être utilisées sans inconvénient dans des revêtements de surface sans cristaux, compositions de revêtement d'accrochage sans trace, compositions d'hydrofugation, applications de revêtement de sol, couches de liaison, couches d'imprégnation, enrobés bitumineux denses ou semi-denses coulés à froid et stockables, coulis bitumineux, compositions de microsurfaçage et mortiers.
