An ergonomic auxiliary handle including at one extremity, an oeil de boeuf means connected at a certain distance to the handle of a shovel, a pitchfork or any other tool featuring a long handle used to pick up and move what has been picked up to another location. The auxiliary handle is affixed to the tool handle precisely using an oeil de boeuf bearing opening. A screw protruding from the bearing allows the auxiliary handle to be moved toward or away from the tool handle, and a lateral locking means for the bearing allows the auxiliary handle a slight lateral oscillation as well as rotation, enabling the user to move their wrist ergonomically. The auxiliary handle is equipped with a handle inclined forward, thus preventing the users fingers from bumping the handle when the contents of the tool is ejected. The length of the auxiliary handle is adjustable. The auxiliary handle is sold separately from the tool, or it can be directly affixed to the handle of the tool.

Le manche auxiliaire est fixé au manche de l'outil précisément par une ouverture de bille d'oeil de boeuf.
