THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED ASPHALT HEATER FOR A MOBILE PAVEMENT PATCHING VEHICLE
A system for maintaining the temperature of the contents of an asphalt storage hopper mounted to a mobile pavement repair vehicle. The thermostatic control system directs a flow controller to direct exhaust gases from the engine of the vehicle either to the atmosphere or to a heat exchanger within the asphalt hopper in order to maintain the desired temperature. The thermostatic controller may allow an operator to select a desired temperature for the asphalt.
Un système pour maintenir la température du contenu dune trémie de stockage dasphalte montée sur un véhicule mobile de réparation de chaussée. Le système à contrôle thermostatique dirige un régulateur de débit pour diriger des gaz déchappement du moteur du véhicule soit dans latmosphère ou vers un échangeur thermique à lintérieur de la trémie dasphalte pour maintenir la température souhaitée. Le contrôleur thermostatique peut permettre à un opérateur de choisir une température souhaitée pour lasphalte.
