TOGGLE LATCH FOR SEQUENTIALLY EXTENDED MECHANICAL MAST
An automatic locking system is provided that is driven by the normal extension and retraction of the mast, reduces the inherent rotation and deflection of the mast due to clearances, and operates more smoothly and quietly than conventional locking systems. The locking system also fits reasonably within the existing footprint of a typical mechanical mast.
L'invention porte sur un système de verrouillage automatique, lequel système est entraîné par les extension et rétraction normales du mât, réduit la rotation et l'infléchissement inhérents du mât dues à des espacements, et fonctionne de façon plus douce et plus régulière que les systèmes de verrouillage classiques. Le système de verrouillage s'adapte aussi de façon raisonnable à l'intérieur de l'empreinte existante d'un mât mécanique typique.
