IMPROVED WALL PANEL TRIM SYSTEM AND METHOD
A two-component trim system for securing wall panels to a building for cladding. The trim system comprises a base member securable to a side of a building and an initially-detached trim tab, a portion of the latter capable of being lockingly securable to the base member in a position spaced-apart from, but overlying, a portion of thereof so as to thereby hide unsightly mis-dimensioning and/or non-rectangularity along edges of substantially-rectangular wall panels when same are affixed to a wall of a building . The base member possesses an upwardly-extending channel formed of two mutually parallel rails mounted on a flat surface of the base member , which rails have locking means which are engaged by the aforementioned portion of the trim tab to allow the trim tab to be lockingly secured to the base member to the hide a portion of the edge of a wall panel.
