A method of making a spacer is provided. The method includes a step of arranging at least a portion of a first elongate strip and at least a portion of a second elongate strip to define a space therebetween. The method also includes a step of extruding a first sidewall such that the first sidewall is offset from first elongate edges of the first and second elongate strips. The method further includes a step of adhering the first sidewall to the first and the second elongate strips.

La méthode comprend une étape de disposition dau moins une portion dune première bande allongée et au moins une portion dune deuxième bande allongée pour définir un espace entre elles. La méthode comprend également une étape dextrusion dune première paroi latérale de sorte que la première paroi latérale est décalée des premiers bords allongés de la première et la deuxième bandes allongées.
