A latch assembly connected to the drive unit of a bi-fold door for retaining the bi-fold door secure to a building has elongated straps attached to rotatable latch drums mounted on the outer ends of the drive shaft of the drive unit. Lift drums powered by a motor driven gearbox raise and lower the bi-fold door. Latch assemblies having springs attached to the straps maintain tension on the straps during the opening and closing of the bi-fold door.
Il est décrit un ensemble de verrou de porte attaché au mécanisme dentraînement dune porte pliante afin de fixer cette dernière à un bâtiment. Lensemble de verrou en question comprend des sangles allongées attachées à des tambours de verrou tournants montés sur les extrémités extérieures de larbre dentraînement du mécanisme dentraînement. Des tambours de levage entraînés par une boîte dengrenages motorisée lèvent et baissent la porte pliante. Des ensembles de verrou dans lesquels des ressorts sattachent aux sangles gardent ces sangles tendues au moment douvrir et de fermer la porte pliante.
