FLUORINATED CARBON DIOXIDE SWELLABLE POLYMERS AND METHOD OF USE
A cementing composition which is capable of self-sealing cracks in the cement composition is provided. For example, the composition includes a polymer that is swellable in the presence of gaseous hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, carbonic acid and/or hydrochloric acid. A method for using the cementing composition in cementing operations for wellbore through a subterranean formation is also provided.
Cette invention concerne une composition de cimentation capable d'auto-combler des fissures dans une composition de ciment. Par exemple, la composition comprend un polymère qui peut gonfler en présence d'hydrocarbures gazeux, de sulfure d'hydrogène, de dioxyde de carbone, d'acide carbonique et/ou d'acide chlorhydrique. Un procédé d'utilisation de la composition de cimentation selon l'invention dans des opérations de cimentation d'un trou de forage pénétrant dans une formation souterraine est également décrit.
