PRECAST CONCRETE BEAM
A precast concrete beam including a substantially planar web extending longitudinally between ends of the beam; a pair of flanges formed integrally with the web, each flange extending laterally from an elongate edge of the web and extending longitudinally between the ends of the beam so as to define a structure engaging surface of the beam; and a plurality of diaphragms formed integrally with the web and the flanges, each diaphragm spanning laterally between a side of the web and one of the flanges, wherein the diaphragms are spaced apart along the beam to thereby support the flanges.
L'invention concerne une poutre en béton précoulé comprenant une âme sensiblement plane s'étendant longitudinalement entre les extrémités de la poutre ; une paire de semelles formées de manière intégrée avec l'âme, chacune des semelles s'étendant latéralement à partir d'un bord allongé de l'âme et s'étendant longitudinalement entre les extrémités de la poutre de manière à définir une surface de mise en prise de structure de la poutre ; et une pluralité de diaphragmes formés de manière intégrée avec l'âme et les semelles, chaque diaphragme couvrant latéralement l'espace entre un côté de l'âme et une des semelles, les diaphragmes étant espacés le long de la poutre pour ainsi maintenir les semelles.
