RETRACTABLE ILLUMINATED SAFETY BARRICADE
Our invention consists of an LED rope, coiled inside of a plastic casing with an internal retractable mechanism. The LED rope is powered by a rechargeable battery, mounted to the plastic casing via aluminum frame. The open end of the LED rope is terminated with a carabiner type hook, for attaching to the end point of the intended barricade area. The unit is intended to provide a quick set up, highly visible, portable barricade. This is primarily intended for underground mining applications, but can be used in construction, forestry, road work, or commercial establishments (ie. Home Depot aisle barricade). lt is designed with a built in hook on the main reel, and a safety carabiner hook on the open end for quick deployment.
