QUONSET BUILDING WITH INTERNAL TOWER SUPPORT
A quonset style building is provided with an arched-roof defining a width, length and height, and tower supporting the roof adjacent its apex. The tower separates storage areas on opposite sides of the building. The tower also permits the building height and width to be increased over conventional quonset buildings, and allows the width to be 3x the height, while withstanding typical weather forces, including wind and snow.
Un bâtiment de type Quonset est doté dun toit arqué définissant une largeur, une longueur et une hauteur, de même que dune tour soutenant le toit à proximité de son point le plus haut. La tour sépare les zones de stockage situées aux extrémités opposées du bâtiment. De plus, la tour permet daugmenter la hauteur et la largeur du bâtiment, par rapport aux bâtiments Quonset conventionnels. Elle permet aussi que la largeur soit trois fois plus élevée que la hauteur, tout en résistant aux forces météorologiques habituelles, comme le vent et la neige.
