The system (8) for guiding and supporting a leaf (2) of a platform-access door (1) capable of moving relative to a fixed panel (3) in a horizontal translational movement in a plane of the leaf between open and closed positions, comprising: - a rail (11) extending in a direction of the horizontal translational movement, a first set of rollers (211, 212, 221) collaborating with the rail, for guiding and supporting it, comprising an axis of rotation perpendicular to the plane of the leaf and being made up of: a main roller (221) in contact with a lower bearing surface (1181) of the rail; first (211) and second (212) secondary rollers which are offset from one another in at least a vertical direction and respectively in contact with the lower bearing surface (1181) and with an upper bearing surface (1182) of the rail and positioned some distance away from the main roller in the direction of a transition from the closed position into the open position.
