DOOR HINGE AND A METHOD OF INSTALLING A HIDDEN DOOR
A door hinge has a mounting plate and a bearing plate. The mounting plate has a pin positioned perpendicular to the mounting plate. The pin has a first end and a second end with the first end of the pin being attached to the mounting plate. The mounting plate has at least one fastening aperture for fastening the mounting plate to a first surface. The bearing plate has a bearing aperture. A swivel bearing is positioned within the bearing aperture such that the swivel bearing is pivotable. The swivel bearing has an aperture engageable with the pin of the mounting plate. The swivel bearing allows the mounting plate to pivot and rotate relative to the bearing plate. The bearing plate has at least one fastening aperture for fastening the bearing plate to a second surface such that the bearing plate is positioned in parallel spaced relation to the mounting plate with the second end of the pin engaging the swivel bearing.
