PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR DOOR ASSEMBLY MEMBERS
A protective device and method for protection of a door frame member and/or door assembly. The protective device may include a body portion and an adjoining flange portion. The body portion may include a free side and a corner side running parallel to each other and may form an L-shaped device. The flange may include guide slot openings for placement of a fastener through the openings. The body portion may have a substantially planar top and a curved bottom with reduced portions forming attachment areas for securing the protective device removably to a door assembly.
Il est décrit un appareil de protection servant à protéger un élément de cadre de porte et/ou un ensemble de cadre de porte. Lappareil de protection peut comprendre une partie constituant un corps ainsi quune partie contigüe constituant une bride. La partie constituant un corps peut former un appareil en L et comprendre un côté libre ainsi quun côté constituant un coin, lesquels côtés sont parallèles. La bride peut comprendre des ouvertures constituant des rainures de guidage dans lesquelles on peut placer des éléments de fixation. La partie constituant un corps peut comporter une partie supérieure essentiellement plane et une partie inférieure courbée ayant des parties réduites qui forment des points dattache servant à fixer lappareil de protection à un ensemble de porte de manière amovible.
