A spacer (16) and method of producing a flexible thermoset polymer spacer body; without the use of a traditional energy intensive extrusion, heat curing, and heat baking process; by using a two component polymer; one component carrying a desiccant powder, and the other component being the catalyst for cure.
L'invention concerne un espaceur (16) et un procédé de production d'un corps d'espaceur en polymère thermodurci souple ; sans l'utilisation d'un procédé classique d'extrusion, de polymérisation à chaud et de cuisson à chaud à forte consommation d'énergie ; par utilisation d'un polymère à deux composants : un composant portant une poudre de déshydratant et l'autre composant étant le catalyseur pour le durcissement.
