Date: Sept 15, 2020 Abstract: The batter board sticks are composed of a steel rod varying in length with a strike plate at the top, rounded at the bottom with an adjustable collar that moves up or down depending on the height needed. This adjustable height collar also has an L-bracket attached in which a 2+ batter Board is placed on its edge between two Batter Board stakes. The height of the collar is adjusted to the height needed to make the batter board level so that a line can be attached to the batter board and run a distance to the next corner. Once all corners have the pair of Batter Board stakes set up with a level height adjusted batter board, they provide a bird+s eye view of the outline of a future foundation at the proposed location of a new building. The Embodiments of the Invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows: Claim 1: ++ diameter Steel rode in two lengths either 36+ long or 60+ long. One end is rounded to ease penetration into the ground and the top end has a strike plate welded on for increased surface area to hit with a sledgehammer. Claim 2: Adjustable height collar made from 1+ tubing slides over the steel rode and a tightening bolt is used to hold the collar in place. The collar has metal L-bracket attached which is used to hold a 2. batter board on its side therefore allowing the height of the batter board to be adjusted. Claim 3: The Steel rods (batter Board Stakes) are used in pairs at the corners of the foundation that hold up, adjust the height and level one *Batter Board.
