An engineered crumb rubber asphalt additive may comprise a plurality of a structural particles and a non-elastomeric liquid. At least a portion of the surface of the structural particles is coated with the non-elastomeric liquid. The structural particles may be crumb rubber particles. The engineered crumb rubber asphalt additive may also comprise a reagent. The non-elastomeric liquid may be selected from the group consisting of workability/compaction agents, slipping agents, and anti-stripping agents.
L'invention concerne un additif pour asphalte à base de granulés de caoutchouc technique, pouvant comprendre une pluralité de particules structurales et un liquide non élastomère. Au moins une partie de la surface des particules structurales est revêtue du liquide non élastomère. Les particules structurales peuvent être des particules de granulés de caoutchouc. L'additif pour asphalte à base de granulés de caoutchouc techniques peut aussi comprendre un réactif. Le liquide non élastomère peut être choisi dans le groupe consistant en les agents de maniabilité/compactage, les agents de glissement et les agents anti-désenrobage.
