SEALING MATERIAL
The present invention relates to composite sealing materials for a gasket. The gaskets are useful in solid oxide fuel/electrolyser cells (SOFC and SOEC).The fuel cell gaskets contain sealing material based upon chemically exfoliated vermiculite that has improved corrosion resistance. The sealing material comprises chemically exfoliated vermiculite; filler; and insoluble carbonate.
La présente invention concerne des matériaux d'étanchéité composites pour un joint d'étanchéité. Les joints d'étanchéité sont utiles dans des piles à combustible/électrolyseur à oxyde solide (SOFC et SOEC). Les joints d'étanchéité de pile à combustible contiennent un matériau d'étanchéité à base de vermiculite exfoliée chimiquement qui présente une résistance à la corrosion améliorée. Le matériau d'étanchéité comprend de la vermiculite exfoliée chimiquement; une charge; et du carbonate insoluble.
