BLAST-RESISTANT ESCAPE WINDOW
A blast-resistant escape window for an armored combat ground vehicle has a cassette which fits within, and closes, a though-opening in a frame of a windscreen. Two releasable lever-operated locking mechanisms for releasably locking the cassette in the through-opening are mounted on the windscreen at opposite sides of the through-opening. The cassette can to be pushed out of the through-opening when the locking mechanisms have been operated to release the cassette from being locked to the windscreen, thereby providing an alternative exit for personnel in the vehicle.
Une fenêtre de secours à lépreuve des explosions pour un véhicule blindé de combat au sol comprend une cassette qui sinsère dans une ouverture débouchante dans un châssis de pare-brise et ferme cette ouverture. Deux mécanismes de verrouillage à levier pouvant verrouiller la cassette de manière déverrouillable dans louverture débouchante sont montés sur le pare-brise à des côtés opposés de louverture débouchante. La cassette peut être poussée hors de louverture débouchante lorsque les mécanismes de verrouillage ont été exploités pour libérer la cassette de son verrouillage au pare-brise pour offrir une autre sortie pour les membres du personnel dans le véhicule.
