UNIVERSAL WINDOW BANDING CLIP
A universal clip for restraining two frame members into position during post assembly until sealant applied to the extrusions fully cures. The clip comprises both an upper and a lower locking panel with at least one opening between the interior and exterior surface and at least one protrusion extending outwardly from the interior surface. The clip also includes a hook plate with first and second longitudinally opposed edges. The second edge is arcuately shaped and the clip also includes first and second laterally opposed edges as well as a through hole proximate each of the laterally opposed edges. The hook plate first longitudinally opposed edge is between the upper and lower locking panels. The interior surfaces of the upper and lower locking panels face one another and the at least one protrusion from each of the upper and lower locking panels passes through the at least one opening in the opposite locking panel.
