FLOOR COVERING WITH INTERLOCKING DESIGN
A surface covering plank comprising a resilient composite sheet that is flexible and has a first tongue and a first groove, which are complementary in shape to each other to be interlockingly engageable with a corresponding groove or tongue on an adjacent floor plank. When the uppermost edges of the surface covering plank and an adjacent plank are joined at a vertical joint seam, a first clearance exists between a distal end of the first tongue having an upper side that is slanted or sloped relative to the planar upper surface and a groove deck of said corresponding groove, the first clearance extends continuously from the vertical joint to a tip of the first tongue and a second clearance exists between a distal edge of the lower lip of said corresponding groove and a channel wall of the first tongue.
Il est décrit une planche de couverture de surface comprenant une feuille composite résiliente souple ayant une première languette et une première rainure dont la forme leur permet dengager une languette ou une rainure correspondante dune planche adjacente en lenclenchant. Une fois les bords supérieurs de la planche de couverture de surface et dune planche adjacente joints au site dun joint vertical, il existe un premier jeu entre une partie distale de la première languette ayant un côté supérieur incliné par rapport à la surface supérieure plane et le fond de la rainure correspondante, lequel premier jeu sétend de façon continue entre le joint vertical et une extrémité de la première languette. Un deuxième jeu existe entre un bord distal du rebord inférieur de la rainure correspondante et une paroi de cannelure de la première languette.
