QUICK-ATTACH LINEAR FINISHING TRIM SYSTEM
A modular trim system includes a track member that receives linear trim pieces and trim joiner pieces to produce various types of trim for residential and commercial buildings utilizing a limited number of pieces. The track member is mounted to the wall and includes at least one outward projecting flange. The linear trim pieces and trim joiner pieces include a recessed area that receives and conceals the track. The flange of the track member is frictionally received within a mating channel in the linear trim pieces and trim joiner pieces, thereby maintaining the linear trim pieces and trim joining pieces flush against the wall or ceiling.
