ROADSIDE RFID SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE SELF DRIVING
This invention provides a conceptual process of assisting self driving systerns by utilizing RFID technology on vehicles and the roadside. The rnain cornponents are RFID readers on vehicles and RFID tags on the roadside. RFID readers in charge of receiving data frorn RFID tags will be installed onto a vehicle. Furthermore, the RFID reader will be connected to a self driving systern to provide additional information. Additional information could irnprove the accuracy of road detection and subsequently the overall experience of a self driving systern. While operating, each RFID reader will keep interacting with RFID tags to detect the accurate position of roadside and provide information to the self driving systern of a vehicle. This invention airns to irnprove the reliability of self driving systerns so that they can becorne rnore prevalent and used across the world.
