NON-OBSTRUCTING OVER SIDEWALK EXTENSION CORD STAND
Metal post designed to lift an extension cord up and over top of sidewalk, without obstructing the path of pedestrian traffic. Design features 3 main pieces; base plate, straight post, and top arch. The base plate is a "T" shaped metal plate with holes for spikes at each end, as well as a 4in welded post used to secure the straight post to the base. 3x 8in metal spikes are used to secure the base plate to the ground as well as 2x 10in angled spikes for added stability. The straight post is a 5ft long, round metal tube and has one flared end to sleeve the 4in welded post on the base plate. The straight post also features a slot 3ft from the base which allows an extension cord to be put inside the metal tube. The top arch is a round metal tube, bent into a rounded arch and is used to bring the extension cord out to the edge of the sidewalk. A 2.5ft radius is used for the arch bend. A lft straight section on one end of the arch is flared to sleeve the top of the straight post. Unce assembled the extension cord slides through the post and is pulled out to your vehicle when in use and back to the end of the arch when not in use.
