LIGHTWEIGHT DECORATIVE CONCRETE PANEL
This invention relates to precast concrete panels for application to vertical, overhead, or floor surfaces of interior or exterior building structures for decorative and/or protective purposes. The invention consists of a single-layer, light-weight, concrete panel whereby installation of said panels involves connecting panels by patching multipurpose cementitious mortar, the same mortar used for casting the panel, between panel gaps. This method of connectivity advantageously strengthens the panel group, in comparison to having no fill or grout fill, and also provides a desirable continuous appearance across the panel group.
