HALF-TIMBERED HOUSE IN TIMBER-FRAME CONSTRUCTION
A half-timbered house with a multi-shell wall structure includes walls and a roof, with at least one wall separating an interior space from external surroundings and having inner posts and outer posts, with the inner posts positioned closer to the interior space than the outer posts. The roof includes at least one roof side having lower rafters and upper rafters, with the lower rafters positioned closer to the interior space than the upper rafters. Each lower rafter is supported directly on a respective inner post, and each upper rafter is supported directly on a respective outer post. The lower rafters and inner posts form a first structural framework facing the interior space, and the upper rafters and outer posts form a second structural framework facing the external surroundings, and the inner posts and outer posts are offset from one another along a length of the wall.
