Building materials described herein include a structure having a substrate and a coating fomied on the substrate. In one embodiment, the coating may include a mixture or rubber in urethane. For example, in one embodiment, mixture may include approximately 8% to approximately 12% by weight of urethane, approximately 2% to approximately 5% by weight of water, and approximately 81% to approximately 90% by weight of rubber. In some embodiments, the mixture may include a colorant, a fire retardant, and/or an ultraviolet (UV) inhibitor.
