The invention discloses a method for reducing a variable coefficient of #2 line P.O42.5 cement. The method comprises the following steps: matching the following components in parts: 6.1 parts of limestone, 6.0 parts of coal ash and 5.4 parts of granulated blast furnace slag powder; adding the limestone, the coal ash and the granulated blast furnace slag powder into a cement grinding machine according to the ratios; and producing the #2 line P.O42.5 cement by a vertical mill grinding technology. By virtue of the method for reducing the variable coefficient of the #2 line P.O42.5 cement, the defects in the prior art that components are complicated, the ratio is not reasonable, the stability is poor and the like can be overcome; and the advantages of simple components, reasonable ratio and good stability are realized.
