The invention discloses a fireproof artificial quartzite plate and a preparation method thereof. The fireproof artificial quartzite plate is composed of the following components in parts by weight: 50-80 parts of 8-100-mesh quartzite, 30-50 parts of 325-1250-mesh quartz powder, 5-15 parts of cullet, 5-10 parts of shell, 5-10 parts of unsaturated resin, 10-20 parts of 50-100-mesh white afrodite powder, 10-20 parts of 100-150-mesh kyanite powder, 0.3-0.5 part of assistant and 0.3-0.8 part of pigment. The white afrodite powder and kyanite powder, which are favorable refractory materials, are adopted to enhance the fireproof temperature of the fireproof artificial quartzite plate and prolong the fireproof time, so that the fireproof artificial quartzite plate has excellent fire resistance. The preparation method is simple and suitable for industrial production.
