The invention relates to a phenolic aldehyde fireproof thermal insulation block. The phenolic aldehyde fireproof thermal insulation block is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 60-85 parts of a main body, 10-25 parts of thermoplastic phenolic aldehyde resin, 10-20 parts of a curing agent, 5-15 parts of a composite flame retardant, 3-5 parts of antimonous oxide, 8-10 parts of aluminum dihydrogen phosphate and 2-10 parts of inorganic crystal whiskers. The prepared phenolic aldehyde fireproof thermal insulation block has comprehensive performances and advantages of being fireproof and non-combustible, light in weight, high in strength, low in heat conduction coefficient, durable, good in thermal insulation effect and convenient in construction, not only can be used for a building lower than 100m, but also can be used for various buildings over 100m, so that the combustion performance achieves level A.
