The invention relates to a foamed aluminum material, and belongs to the field of foamed aluminum materials. The foamed aluminum material is prepared from a foamed blank, aluminum powder and a foaming agent. The foamed aluminum material is characterized by being prepared the following components in percentage by mass: 40 to 60% of foamed blank, 15 to 40% of aluminum powder, and 10 to 25% of foaming agent; the foaming agent is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: 35 to 50% of dolomite, 26 to 34% of calcium carbonate, 5 to 15% of water glass, and 12 to 16% of carbon powder. The foamed aluminum material has the advantages that 1) the foaming agent can be used for solving the problems of expensive TiH2 serving as the foaming agent and strict operation conditions; 2) the foaming agent is able to regulate the porosity and pore size distribution of foamed aluminum by changing the raw material ratio of the raw materials; water glass is fed in the foaming agent, the blank, the aluminum powder and foaming agent are foamed and melted together under the high temperature; and dense closed air pores are formed in the material, and therefore, the porous and light-mass foamed aluminum material structure can be obtained.
