The invention discloses a rail transit noise reduction box type bridge and an external bonding noise reduction method of a rail transit box type bridge. The rail transit noise reduction box type bridge comprises a box type beam, wherein at least one first acoustic board used for reducing vibration noise and carrying out thermal insulation is installed on the outer side of the side wall of the box type beam; the first acoustic boards are arranged on the outer surface of the side wall of the box type beam at intervals through a first supporting mechanism and are arranged in a direction which is parallel with or in oblique crossing with the outer surface of the side wall of the box type beam; and/ or at least one second acoustic board used for reducing the vibration noise and carrying out the thermal insulation is installed on the outer surface of the bottom board of the box type beam; the second acoustic boards are arranged on the outer surface of the bottom board of the box type beam at intervals via a second supporting mechanism; the second acoustic boards are arranged in a direction which is parallel with or in oblique crossing with the outer surface of the outer surface of the box type beam.
