The invention provides a door frame suitable for a wooden outer door plate. The door frame comprises a door frame body, wherein side plates are arranged on the two sides of the door frame body; the height of the side plates is smaller than the height of the side edges of the door frame body; the top ends of the side plates are provided with a buffer plate; the buffer plate is provided with a release groove; the height of the laminated buffer plate and side plates is greater than or equal to the height of the side edges of the door frame body; the upper end of the buffer plate is provided with a top plate; the side plates, the buffer plate and the top plate are all provided with decorative layers. The side plates arranged on the door frame, the buffer plate arranged on the side plates and the release groove formed in the buffer plate aim at squeezing of a wall body to the door frame, the force applied to the door frame by the wall body is buffered and released through the buffer plate and the release groove, the service life of the door frame is guaranteed, and the cost is reduced. Meanwhile, the service life of the door frame is further prolonged by buffer blocks arranged between the buffer plate and the side plates.
